Maxey, Inc.
Maxine Evans, the founder of Maxey, Inc., started the business in 2002 as a carpet cleaning company and initially focused on cleaning domestic carpets. She diversified to cleaning carpets in commercial organizations like nursing homes, restaurants and hotels, thus enabling her to establish domestic cleaning contracts and to employ cleaners who visited customers in white vans.
The business went from strength to strength, winning commercial contracts with larger companies like Holland Southwest, Bank One, Imani School for Children and Luby’s. This side of the business enabled her to concentrate on the larger daily office cleaning contracts.
Rapid expansion followed and a small maintenance supplies division was established to support the cleaning contracts in 2011. Through ongoing support and commitment to excellence and to her customers, the company stood as a supplier and sanitary maintenance provider. By providing a high level of valuable service, the company continues to distinguish itself from its competition in an increasingly commodity-based marketplace.

The company ethos remains “integrity and honesty,” and the motto is “It takes a Maxey for your cleaning needs.” This has been the basis for our sustained growth over 20 years through some very economically difficult times, resulting in an ever-increasing core of regular and very valued customers.
